How can you get started?
There are three areas that we will be focusing on to insure your success. The reason most “sales” training programs fail is because they are missing one or more of the following components.
Planning
Having a solid marketing and prospecting plan, as well as setting clearly defined goals are critical elements to success in sales. Without having these plans in writing, there is no worse mistake a business developer will make. We will be creating individual plans for each participant to insure that you are on the right path from the beginning. The plan will also be the basis for us to track your activity to quickly find areas for improvement.
Process
Following a step by step process that makes prospecting and selling predictable and enjoyable are major keys to being successful in building your book of business. The days of the gun slinger salesman are over. Today’s buyers are not only risk adverse and untrusting, but also smarter than ever. If your process doesn’t allow you to build trust, keep control of the prospect and move them to a specific outcome, it’s not worth keeping. By following our proven process, the prospective client will appreciate the manner in which you are walking them through the “buying process” and never feel that they’re being sold to.
Performance
One of the missing pieces in a sales professional’s life is improving performance. You may have heard of the veteran salesman that has 10 years of experience in sales. The truth is that he probably has one year of sales experience, ten times. By tracking activity, de-briefing sales opportunities and role playing through the system, we are able to uncover areas improvement before they become repetitious.

Steve Fretzin
Founder and President of Sales Results, Inc.
Steve Fretzin is the Founder and Owner of Sales Results, Inc. and as such, provides overall strategic direction and leadership to the firm. Prior to establishing Sales Results, Inc. in 2005, Steve specialized in sales coaching, marketing management, and business operations in the franchise industry.
Under his guidance, Sales Results, Inc. has quickly emerged as a top-flight national sales training institution. Steve has developed and implemented proprietary materials which have empowered salespeople, entrepreneurs and business professionals from small and mid-sized businesses in over 50 industries. Steve has authored numerous articles and has been featured on Entrepreneur.com, Investor’s Business Daily and other publications as an expert in Sales Coaching and Networking.
In addition to his duties at Sales Results, Inc., Steve oversees the operations of four other organizations. He is Founder and Partner of The Executives Profit, LLC, the Founder and President of Team Discovery, LLC, and Networking Monkey, LLC, and Executive Director of the American Club Association.
Jim Klein
Director of Sales at Sales Results
Jim Klein serves as the Director of Sales at Sales Results. Mr. Klein has over three decades of business experience on both sides of the coin. He has held sales and management positions for several prominent companies as well as serving in an ownership and chairmanship capacity in other organizations-most notably, with the Jewish Community Centers of Chicago (between 1974-2004), as a past President of two centers and on the Executive Committee. Presently, he is a Member of the Advisory Board of the Museum of Contemporary Photography at Chicago’s Columbia College, a position he has held since 1997. Since 2007, he has served on the Member Acquisition Committee of the Block Museum at Northwestern University.
Jim’s 35 years in sales plus a healthy dose of learning and understanding contemporary business development enables him to be an effective partner to anyone (individual or complete sales force) wishing to improve their businesses or practices by improving sales. Accordingly, Mr. Klein’s coaching style is a harmonic blend of practical sales training and a “street smart” view of the process. Mr. Klein received his B.A. from the University of Illinois and a Masters in Marketing/Advertising from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
